A therapeutic massage describes any type of massage designed to relax your body, massage your muscles, and even take care of specific problems, like a stiff neck or frozen shoulder. Depending on why you come in for a massage, your therapist will implement specific techniques, along with the right amount of pressure, to address your goals and needs.
How often should you come in for a massage? This is entirely up to you. Some of our clients in Wake Forest, North Carolina come in for an appointment every week, while others reserve it for special occasions or when they need some serious relaxation. Whatever your goals are and whatever you want out of your massage, we think there’s no such thing as getting massages too often.

I had my first Hydrafacial ever with Hannah and it was amazing! I've enjoyed many different types of facials in the past, but nothing like this. I went to wake Skincare for a lash and tint and Jacqueline did a wonder job. Jacqueline took time to lift my lashes to match my eye shape and the color looks great. We decided to add in a henna brow and the combination of the two services added a pop of color and helped frame my face. Both look very natural and not over done. I have already had two appointments with Jackie and I will keep coming back for more! The first appointment I had we decided the best option would be the Platinum Hydrafacial. It was immensely relaxing and exactly what I needed before a day filled with demands from my toddler and infant! She is very knowledgeable and takes her time explaining each step in the process and why it is being done. I also really loved that at the end of the session she picks and chooses products based on your skin and its needs to create a skincare routine for you. My second appointment was Microneedling, it was my first time ever having this done. The process was uncomfortable for me but she was extremely patient and soothing throughout the experience. I definitely recommend Jackie for any and all skincare needs!

I received a gift card from my mom for my 21st birthday and was so excited to have my first facial! The experience did not disappoint, it exceeded all my expectations. Not only was Jackie incredibly sweet, she was very knowledgeable about her work. I went in for a free consultation beforehand so we can decide what would be best for me and we decided on a hydrafacial. (The space is beautifully decorated and very clean). When I went in for my facial we decided to add microdermabrasion and the use of the wet diamond to scrape away at years worth of dead skin 😳 (I do not exfoliate but will definitely start now!) The entire process was so relaxing, and she talked me through everything she was doing, what products she was using, and their benefits. After the session was done she showed me a line of products for a skincare routine she specifically curated for my sensitive, hormonal acne prone skin (I also have rosacea). Unfortunately it was not in my budget to purchase my new skincare routine, but I have already scheduled my second facial and am planning on buying it at that time! My skin has never felt smoother in my entire life! It was refreshing and my skin could breathe finally after she took all the gunk out of my pores (she even lets you see it after the facial!). She has definitely gained a loyal customer in me (and my mom since she also went in for a facial and thoroughly enjoyed the experience). I highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a pampering and/or would like help in understanding how to properly take care of their skin!

The salon was decorated beautifully with attention to detail. My daughter and myself scheduled last minute appointments for my daughters wedding and Jacqueline was so accommodating. I recently visited Jackie for a lash lift and tint and it turned out absolutely beautiful! During that appointment we also talked how to deal with my existing breakouts and leftover scarring/dark spots. We made a plan and today I had my first hydro facial with her! It was amazing. Jacqueline is pure magic! Not only is she just an amazing person in general, it always inspires me when I meet a woman who has figured out exactly what she loves to do! Make people feel and look good! Jacqueline has been doing my lash lifts and eyebrows since we moved here and they look so amazing! In all the places I have received skincare she is by far my absolute favorite esthetician. I recently treated myself to facial after feeling like my skin needed a Spring reset. We decided on the Deluxe Hydrafacial with britenol and protection boosters and lymphatic drainage. Well…if I did not shine like a diamond after that!!! The stuff that came out of my skin was grossly satisfying and the lymphatic drainage was so effective. I drank a ton of water for the next two days and my allergies were so much better afterward.Top that with a lash lift and eyebrow shaping and tint and WOW do I feel like a new woman! It totally helped me step back into my at home skincare routine and keep up the glow. At the very least this will be my quarterly treatment to shed old skin after passing into a new season. Absolutely worth every penny and more! Jacqueline is a Skincare Goddess gifted to us by the heavens!!! Wonderful experience at wake skin care. Have been seeing multiple dermatologist over the years in regards to cystic acne . No matter how many oral medications and topical medications were prescribed nothing seemed to work. One appointment for a hydrafacial, and I can already see huge changes. She recommended the pumpkin olos Products and I can already see a huge difference with my skin . I have always been so self conscious about my acne, however I have finally found something that works. Jackie at Wake Skincare has 1000% changed the way I view and take care of my skin.From all of her expertise about skincare and truly finding a great personalized routine that works for me, my face has never been more clear! I highly recommend the dermaplane paired with the signature hydrafacial. I also use her line of recommended serums, Dibi exfoliator and daily moisturizer. After starting my routine I can see significant changes in scar reduction and evenness through out my skin. My redness is dramatically decreased too. I really enjoyed the personalization provided for my facial. I was talked through each step as well. Additional services were offered as options but not in a pressuring way which I really appreciated. I was pleased with the Hydrafacial especially after going so long between facials, it provided a great deep cleaning in a relaxing, painless way.

I scheduled an appointment for a Hydrafacial and Dermaplane. I have had several facials and Dermaplane’s but never a Hydrafacial. I was looking for a step up from just your routine facial. There were so many people on a local community page raving about this place, I had to try. If you have never had a Hydrafacial I highly recommend. This left my skin smooth and glowing. This was my first time ever getting a lash lift and henna brows and let me just say my experience was amazing! Loved the atmosphere from the moment I walked in. Went for my second hydrafacial yesterday and it was amazing. I’ve never had a hydrafacial or even heard of it before I met Jackie and it’s the best ever! Being a new mom I hadn’t had a facial in a long time and my skin was not in the greatest shape. Jackie did such an amazing job, I was so relaxed the entire time and she explained to me everything she was doing and answered all of my questions. The entire process was about an hour. The products she used on my face were great, and I have sensitive skin and I did not break out and I noticed a difference in my skin almost right away. It was smoother and my complexion was more even and there was a luminosity to my skin. My skin looked beautiful.
