I started seeing Jackie several months ago with the intention of removing numerous dark spots and giving my old skin care routine a revamp.Years of microdermabrasionand chemical peels had little to no noticeable effect on my hyperpigmentation. My initial consult with Jackie was extremely thorough and informative and she had clear recommendations for a treatment plan. The best part was seeing results immediately after my very first hydrafacial!Most recently, I’ve had two Clear & Brilliant treatments, which are game changers! I have already had two appointments with Jackie and I will keep coming back for more! The first appointment I had we decided the best option would be the Platinum Hydrafacial. It was immensely relaxing and exactly what I needed before a day filled with demands from my toddler and infant! She is very knowledgeable and takes her time explaining each step in the process and why it is being done. I also really loved that at the end of the session she picks and chooses products based on your skin and its needs to create a skincare routine for you. My second appointment was Microneedling, it was my first time ever having this done. The process was uncomfortable for me but she was extremely patient and soothing throughout the experience. I received a gift card from my mom for my 21st birthday and was so excited to have my first facial! The experience did not disappoint, it exceeded all my expectations. Not only was Jackie incredibly sweet, she was very knowledgeable about her work. I went in for a free consultation beforehand so we can decide what would be best for me and we decided on a hydrafacial. (The space is beautifully decorated and very clean). When I went in for my facial we decided to add microdermabrasion and the use of the wet diamond to scrape away at years worth of dead skin 😳 (I do not exfoliate but will definitely start now!) The entire process was so relaxing, and she talked me through everything she was doing, what products she was using, and their benefits. After the session was done she showed me a line of products for a skincare routine she specifically curated for my sensitive, hormonal acne prone skin (I also have rosacea). Unfortunately it was not in my budget to purchase my new skincare routine, but I have already scheduled my second facial and am planning on buying it at that time! My skin has never felt smoother in my entire life! It was refreshing and my skin could breathe finally after she took all the gunk out of my pores (she even lets you see it after the facial!). She has definitely gained a loyal customer in me (and my mom since she also went in for a facial and thoroughly enjoyed the experience). I highly recommend Jackie to anyone looking for a pampering and/or would like help in understanding how to properly take care of their skin!

The salon was decorated beautifully with attention to detail. My daughter and myself scheduled last minute appointments for my daughters wedding and Jacqueline was so accommodating. Jacqueline is pure magic! Not only is she just an amazing person in general, it always inspires me when I meet a woman who has figured out exactly what she loves to do! Make people feel and look good! Jacqueline has been doing my lash lifts and eyebrows since we moved here and they look so amazing! In all the places I have received skincare she is by far my absolute favorite esthetician. I recently treated myself to facial after feeling like my skin needed a Spring reset. We decided on the Deluxe Hydrafacial with britenol and protection boosters and lymphatic drainage. Well…if I did not shine like a diamond after that!!! The stuff that came out of my skin was grossly satisfying and the lymphatic drainage was so effective. I drank a ton of water for the next two days and my allergies were so much better afterward.Top that with a lash lift and eyebrow shaping and tint and WOW do I feel like a new woman! It totally helped me step back into my at home skincare routine and keep up the glow. At the very least this will be my quarterly treatment to shed old skin after passing into a new season. Wonderful experience at wake skin care. Have been seeing multiple dermatologist over the years in regards to cystic acne . No matter how many oral medications and topical medications were prescribed nothing seemed to work. One appointment for a hydrafacial, and I can already see huge changes. Jackie at Wake Skincare has 1000% changed the way I view and take care of my skin.From all of her expertise about skincare and truly finding a great personalized routine that works for me, my face has never been more clear! I highly recommend the dermaplane paired with the signature hydrafacial. I also use her line of recommended serums, Dibi exfoliator and daily moisturizer. After starting my routine I can see significant changes in scar reduction and evenness through out my skin. My redness is dramatically decreased too. Thank you so much Jackie for helping me get to the root of my skincare routine to prevent dryness and redness before it even starts. It had been a game changer!Wake skincare gets the highest of recommendations from me! Plus their new shop is gorgeous! The best by far that I have found in NC.

Jackie did a wonderful job on my lashes and brows! It was my first time getting a lash lift and it turned out AMAZING. I can’t believe it’s my own lashes that look this good! I also got a henna brow which I was hesitant about at first but it looks very natural and she did a fantastic job shaping. Highly recommend for anyone who is looking to enhance their natural beauty 🙂

I cannot rave enough about my experience with Jackie at wake skincare! Love the hydro facial. After training all summer my skin was parched. After my skin was so soft and less puffy. After 2 weeks my skin had stated to balance out with less dry areas. ❤️
